Change of EUDR Deadlines – More Time, the Same Responsibility

The European Parliament has voted to postpone the entry into force of the obligations arising from the EUDR Regulation. The new deadlines are as follows:

  • large and medium-sized enterprises – from 30 December 2026,
  • micro and small enterprises – from 30 June 2027.

This is good news for companies that need more time to prepare their procedures, systems, and supply chains. However, it is important to remember that a change in the deadline does not mean a change in the requirements.

That is why we encourage you to use the additional time wisely. Acting earlier will allow you to:

  • avoid pressure and costly, rushed implementations just before the deadline,
  • identify gaps in procedures and in the supply chain,
  • prepare your company for inspections and the requirements of business partners,
  • ensure continuity of trade without the risk of penalties and blockages.

At EVOCERT, we help companies prepare for EUDR – from an initial compliance assessment to recommendations for corrective actions.

Do not postpone your preparations. Gain an advantage and the confidence that your company will be ready on time. Contact us and find out how we can help.
