This initiative is a key element in combating climate change by significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and serves as a tool for protecting global biodiversity. Its main objective is to eliminate the EU\u2019s contribution to global processes of forest destruction and degradation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-custom-logo-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-custom-logo-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-custom-logo-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-409d7a061386d051770b0dc3d845be24\">To whom does the EUDR Regulation apply?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\" style=\"line-height:1.7\">The obligation to comply with the new provisions rests with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"line-height:1.8\" class=\"wp-block-list has-small-font-size\">\n<li>podmiotach \u2013 tj. osobach fizycznych lub prawnych, kt\u00f3re w ramach dzia\u0142alno\u015bci handlowej wprowadzaj\u0105 odno\u015bne&nbsp; produkty do obrotu lub je wywo\u017c\u0105,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>traders \u2013 i.e. persons in the supply chain, other than operators, who, in the course of a commercial activity, make products available on the market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\" style=\"line-height:1.7\">The Regulation covers certain commodities and the products listed in Annex I to the Regulation, namely:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"line-height:1.8\" class=\"wp-block-list has-small-font-size\">\n<li>commodities: wood, cocoa, coffee, rubber, soy, oil palm, and cattle,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>products (examples): wooden furniture, chocolate, roasted or decaffeinated coffee, rubber pneumatic tyres, soya beans, tanned leather, and beef.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-custom-logo-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-custom-logo-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-custom-logo-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-25a676361ed5281d53829d6b749d8e6c\">Dates of application of the provisions (Article 38 EUDR)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\" style=\"line-height:1.7\">Rozporz\u0105dzenie EUDR wesz\u0142o w \u017cycie w dniu 29 czerwca 2023 r. i od tego momentu wi\u0105\u017ce w ca\u0142o\u015bci i jest bezpo\u015brednio stosowane w pa\u0144stwach cz\u0142onkowskich. W przypadku du\u017cych i \u015brednich przedsi\u0119biorc\u00f3w zasady wynikaj\u0105ce z EUDR zaczynaj\u0105 obowi\u0105zywa\u0107 od 30 grudnia 2026 r., natomiast wobec mikro i ma\u0142ych przedsi\u0119biorc\u00f3w \u2013 od 30 czerwca 2027 r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-custom-logo-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-custom-logo-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--60)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-custom-logo-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-f0fb9774e22f4f6196338b43babc6ae8\">What are the benefits of an assessment of the degree of compliance with the EUDR Regulation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">EVOCERT offers an independent assessment of the degree of compliance with the requirements of the EUDR Regulation.
